The Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Specialist at Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter (NCS) plays a critical role in supporting formerly homeless individuals in developing the skills necessary to achieve greater independence and stability. This position focuses on providing trauma-informed, client-centered assistance to individuals in areas such as personal care, household management, and community integration.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working under limited supervision, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in NCS’ ability to meet its program goals. The Senior Accountant is responsible for various activities including government (city, state and federal) grant reporting and invoicing, allocating payroll, providing accounts payable and receivable support and tracking grants and donations, among other functions.
The Peer Advocate/Recovery coach is responsible for providing individual recovery planning based on peer recovery services assessments with all clients and prospective clients applying for or considering services at Chance for Change.
The counselor will be responsible for providing integrated dual diagnosis treatment at the clinic, addressing both the substance use and mental health needs of the program’s clients.
The Program Manager will deliver social work services to support NCS Connect’s mobile information, referral, and case management program for low-income, housing insecure, and at-risk households utilizing community meal programs and visits to CTC, the resource center for NCS Connect clients.
The Activities Specialist is focused on enhancing the quality of life for residents through various programs and activities. responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational, educational, and social activities for residents in a secured housing environment. The goal is to promote community engagement, personal development, and overall well-being.
